Course outline and medium of instruction as outlined by the Indian Nursing Council is taught at KLS School of Nursing.

At KLS School of Nursing the Syllabus and General Nursing Course outline, as prescribed by Indian Nursing Council/Karnataka Nursing Council, are followed fully. The medium of instruction in the school is English. Nursing tutors, clinical instructors, and doctors give classroom and clinical lectures. Subject matter experts in the field give lectures on specialties. During the training period, students are assigned hospital duties for their clinical experience in various departments such as medical, pediatrics, operation theater and other specialties. Community nursing and family welfare are a part of training.
